Seattle Newborn Photographer
Natural, baby-led newborn photography at home throughout Seattle and the Eastside

Newborn photography is about remembering how small they really were.
Those first days pass so quickly. The tiny fingers, soft wrinkles, sleepy faces, the way your baby fits into your arms - these are the details I want you to remember.
I don’t believe in forcing babies into perfect poses. I follow your baby, pause for feeding when needed, and keep the session calm and simple. The goal is not perfection. It’s to preserve your baby exactly as they are right now.

Safety & Experience
Every newborn session is baby-led and safety-first. I work slowly, support your baby’s head and body, and never force a position just for a photo.
Your baby’s comfort always comes before the pose.

What does a newborn session look like?
Your baby sets the pace. We stop for feeding, changing, cuddles, or simply a break whenever needed.
I usually move between simple baby-led portraits, tiny details, and photos with parents and siblings. Nothing needs to be perfectly planned - we just follow your baby and create the gallery from there.
When is the best time to take these photos?
Newborn sessions usually work best within the first two weeks, when babies are still very sleepy and naturally curl into those newborn positions.
But babies don’t follow calendars. If your baby is already a little older, please still reach out - we’ll simply adjust the session to their age.
How should we prepare for the session?
Very little. I recommend feeding your baby shortly before we start and keeping the room warm and comfortable.
For clothing and linens, simple neutral tones usually photograph beautifully - white, cream, beige, soft gray. If you’re unsure what to wear, send me a few photos beforehand and I’ll happily help.
